About the Experience

This 3- day, 2 night retreat is for a small group of people committed to stewarding thriving futures, who move with grief and joy simultaneously, and who are ready to let our voices alchemize to express our creativity and courage. Women and nonbinary changemakers will connect with body and earth based wisdom, tell our past-present-future stories and acknowledge the freedom that is already available to us now through:

  • Meditations and movement with nature as guide and companion

  • Spirit-rooted creative practices of singing and storytelling

  • Somatic practices for grounding, transitioning and moving with loving power

  • Guided breath and bodywork to move deeply held emotions

  • Free time to spend in connection, with nature, reflecting, resting, and gathering insights

Who This is For

This will be an an open, free, and welcoming space for women and non-binary changemakers of all backgrounds, while centering BIPOC. We use the term 'social and environmental changemakers' broadly, including  activists, community organizers, frontline workers, educators, healing artists, culture workers, caregivers - anyone serving people and the planet! This will be a BIPOC centered space and white political allies are welcome.

Schedule and Lodging

We will gather from Friday the 11th around 1pm until the afternoon of Sunday 2pm the 13th at 2pm for ritual, collective practice, guided bodywork, rest and song circles.   We have limited on-site options available, and these are first come first serve! The options are on-land in-home, on land-camping, and off-land.  Please check the registration for more details on the options and related pricing.

Registration

This retreat is sliding scale to make it as accessible as possible to changemakers, while remaining financially sustainable for the two faciltiators.  The true cost of the retreat is $950 per person, which covers facilitator compensation and all logistics (food, supplies, materials, cleaning). It does not include lodging, which should be arranged separately (see registration for options).

The solidarity and sliding low rates are made possible by those who can afford to pay the supporter and true rates. Please choose the tier that reflects your current financial reality - and indicate your need early. We invite your integrity and honesty as you select your rate — no explanation or proof is required.

  • Solidarity Rate - $650: For those with limited financial flexibility right now. This tier is made possible by others choosing to pay more.

  • Sliding Low Rate - $850: For those with some flexibility, but not quite able to cover the full cost.

  • True Cost Rate - $950: For those able to pay what your spot actually costs to provide.

  • Supporter Rate - $1,250: Supporter Rate: For those in a stable financial position who want to help make a solidarity spot possible for someone else.

If cost is still a barrier, please reach out to us, and we will see if there is something we can do. We do not want cost to be a reason someone misses this retreat.   Registration closes August 7th.

Transportation

The retreat will take place in Northampton, MA, and is accessible by car. The closest airport is Bradley International in Hartford, Connecticut. Transportation options from the airport include car rental or carpooling (we suggest renting a car for greatest ease). We will share the address and participant list once we complete registration, so that people can coordinate travel and ridesharing as needed.
